Liberata employs more than 4000 people in 27 business centres across the United Kingdom.
The Problem
Liberata was looking for a scalable, reliable way to accelerate deployment of applications to over 1000 users across the enterprise, while simultaneously simplifying management of the underlying infrastructure.
Our Solution
Genisys recommended that Citrix XPe Presentation Server be deployed over a HP Blade architecture consisting of 32 Blade Servers and a number of enclosures, as well as a HP B2000 NAS backend storage facility. We implemented 32 Citrix Metaframe Presentation Servers running on Windows 2000 Server on HP 2nd Generation Blade hardware. The Citrix servers were integrated with Windows 2000 Active Directory Structures. The Liberata Application set was published and a number of group policies activated to control its usage.
